Starting to feel better!!

A week ago today my illness hit and it hit me hard, and today I ate something for the first time in 7 days!!

I had my visit with my Dr on Wednesday and she diagnoised me with Viral Gastroentritis, basically a virus in the Gastric! Well if I remember correctly from my medicine training (I used to work in a dentist and my medical training is basic LOL) itis means a swelling, such as sinusitis is swelling of the sinus, colitis is a swelling of the colon, arthritis, is swelling of the, hmm, arths?!? Hepatitis is swelling of the, mmm, heps?!? Well, I was crap at biology, I actually winged the exam on the seat of my pants!

But basically, I have a very bad stomach bug and was told that it could last up to 10 days. Although I still feel nauseated I definately feel a lot better than the begining of the week. I was prescribed the most horendous meds. I am, by law, not a meds person, I prefer to let my white cells (wow, I am remembering) to fight infection itself. However, I was ready to just die to get rid of the horrible feeling that was literally in the pit of my non-existant stomach. She gave me these tiny tablets that I place high up between my gum and lip, the idea being that it will slowly dissolve. She also thought it would be better for me to do it this way rather than take an actual pill, and should I feel like being sick, I wouldnt loose the tablet.

So this teeny, tiny tablet looked great, it was the size of a pin head. I dont much like meds at the best of times, and I certainely dont like those horse pills that are known as antibiotics.

Ever heard of the saying that small is strong. Dammit, sames goes for these awful pills I was given.

I dont know if you have heard of a bizzare British competition called Gurning?

Yep, this is actually a trained past-time, the art of gurning. My point is, that when I took my teeny tiny atom bomb of a medication, I could have EASILY made the guiness world records for the best gurner!

But, I have to say I have had a great time reading my blog. And I am not talking about the posts I have made. I am talking about the visits. See on the right hand side of my blog, I have a little, where you have come from and who sent you feeder. First of all, I was amazed at the countries that come to visit, most of which have me on google reader, or, have come over from DST or Oscraps. I mean countries I have never heard of, I look at the flag and think, oooh, pretty flag, then I look at the country it originates from.

For example, I have recently had someone from Bratislava, where the heck is Bratislava and I like the flag!! Someone from Kuala Lumpa, heard of it, no idea where it is, but again Ms Kuala Lumpa, Nice flag, although, similar to the USA but instead of stars, you have the moon, I really like what you did there. Not you persaue but, the person who thought of it, genius!

Here is another one, Quezon, where is that?? See, I just love seeing where people come from.

And I am not talking just about countries. Its the google hits I love.

I am finding it ever so entertaining in my time of sickness, but, I wonder if calling this blog the litter tray was a stupid idea!!
