Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends, and I hope you are all having an awesome time at the Black Friday sales, grabbing a few bargains!! (LUCKY!!) Why dont we get such a thing here. If I was Prime Minister I would be demanding Thanksgiving and Black Friday, and Labour Day. These holidays sound way too much fun.

Oh, well, I suppose we will have to stick with St Andrews day, which happens on Sunday, and our town *herm* (city) will be holding a winters festival. What that actually has to do with St Andrews day itself, is anyones guess!!

But The Red Hot Chilli Pipers will be there WOOT!! You read correctly, Pipers not Peppers!

Check them out here, I have seen them live twice and they seriously ROCK!!

OK GIRLS!! COME BACK TO ME HERE!! Stop drooling over the scots men in kilts, although I cant blame you!! LOL I love these guys, and I think they are back here in the New Year so me and the girlies will be planning another night out!!

The atmosphere, particulalry when holding a pint in your hand (It has to be done girls, no wine allowed at these events!!) is awesome, so much 'wooohoo' and 'Love for the stranger beside you' effect!

I have to tell you, I scrapped a page!! OMG I havent done one for ever, but (some may know) I am on the CT for Joe Designs, the other half of Kitty Chen, and together they collabed and made this stunning kit;

Isnt it gorgeous!! Anyway, here is what I made with it

If you love it as much as I do, you can get it Here

Yay, I finally pimped my blog, however I did cheat LOL. I was in the process of making my own background and header and little tabs, but I have been trying to get it completed since October. Virtually impossible when I need to scrap, design and look after my family. So I went and found a cute little blog set at Shabby Miss Jen she has some gorgeous sets and I was tempted to buy the lot!! But I thought this one suits me more :)

I was starting to think that my old layout was looking like Las Vegas strip and needed to be reduced greatly and I am happy with the results :) The littertray is smelling and looking like roses now LOL
Woohoo, look what I got from Vanessa (Scrapness) AND TamaraD Designs

Apparently, I am a Creative Blogger LOL. Now I have to do something, I have to tell about 6 things I love

1. Ok, I better put my kids and husband first, oh, and the rest of my family, my parents, brother, aunties, unlces, cousins, in-laws, and friends yadda, yadda (I really feel like I am accepting an Oscar!)

2 Snow, its snowing now, and I love watching it falling from the sky, particularly when I am sitting at my laptop, blogging with a malteeser hot chocolate!!

3. Kettle Chips, lightly salted, my guilty pleasure!

4. Being creative, be it scrapping or designing, I absoultely love this, it takes me away from the real world for a short time.

5. My horse, when I am having a crap day, just go sit with her, tell her about it and she just lets me blow off steam, and then nuzzles me *aww* she even lets me get on her back and we go for a gallop through the Scottish countryside really lets me blow off the cobwebs

6. My homeland. I am soooo patriotic about Scotland and I feel blessed and lucky to have been brought up in this beautiful country, especially in Inverness, the whole place seeps of history, untouched lands which changes with the weather.

Ok. away with the tissues!!!

So, my newsletter is going out this evening, those of you subscribed will get access to my new wordart a day before everyone else and you will get it at half price!!!! So if you are not subscribed do it NOW!!

Is everyone having a good weekend? Me, it could be better!

Started off with a bad day yesterday, which has resulted with Colin and I falling out, something we very rarely do, but, probably doesnt help that I am PMS'ing in a bad way! Doesnt help when you are in bad form and you go get that sanitary pad which states 'Have a Happy Period' I mean COME ON!!! Obviously a man that made up that ridiculous statement. I am sorry, but I refuse to adorn a pair of pink rollerblades and happily skate my way around the streets with a great big fixed grin on my face, not to mention the white skinny jeans! No, I am in no mood to be roller blading.

I am right now just on the border of heading down to the 'Always' Headquarters with a shotgun just because of that stupid statement. Then to top it all off, Colin, who on a Saturday, is usually home from work at 1pm, then we do family things. We had planned that on Saturday (yesterday) we go together and pick out bikes for the kids Christmas. Then later in the afternoon I will go down to Lily, my horse, shovel crap, give her a brush, and then feed her. For me, shovelling crap is very theraputic, gives Colin time with the kids, and gives me time for me. Honestly, shovelling crap is probably not what I would choose to do in my free time, but needs must.

However, Colin texted me at 2:45 to say he is at some farm sale with his best friend, who happens also to be his boss, he wont be long. Now, with my already depleting mood, this was not what I wished to read. He must of thought it would also be safer to text me rather than call me, probably wise on his part, but on my part, this added petrol to the already fusing fire! And needless to say I was about exploding.

To be safe on both our parts I text him back 'Get your a$$ back here before it gets dark as i need to get to the horses'

It gets dark here at 4pm. He came home at 3:45, not good.

I waited for an apology, nothing, so I left at 4pm. (See, in some insane way, I can now sense why men say they cant read womens minds, notice how I said I WAITED for an apology, instead of ASKING) By the time I was out at Lily's field, I was shovelling crap in the dark. And I was shovelling that stuff into the barrow and bashing it down, at the same time imagining that all that crap was my husbands head, and believe me, I was doing it in such force.

He, right now is sucking it up big time, he bought me my favourite bottle of rose wine last night, poured me a glass with ice (Just how I like it). Then this morning brought me breakfast in bed, then he made me lunch. He is also not complaining that I am on my laptop, this for me is stress relief, and to relieve my stress even further I made you all a template to download.

See, you can thank the fact that I am in a hormonal state and my husband being an asshat for this freebie!!

And here is a layout I made with it

I Free, this is Free!!

I had the most unfortunate incident happen to me last night! And I am thankful the kids and I are alive to tell the tale. We were stuck in a gator infested swamp.

Ok, slight exaguration, since we dont have aligators in the North of Scotland. And, we dont actually have swamps either.

Yesterday was a gawd awful day, in fact, the past week has been gawd aful. Its not stopped raining since Wednesday last week, and on Sunday we actually had that mushy wet snow fall.

Last night I dropped Sarah and her friend off at their cheerleading class, its literally a 5 min drive to their class, usually I would stay with them, but it was so wet, cold and miserable I decided just to go back home with Jamie.

Their class finished at 7pm, so at 6:50 Jamie and I jumped into the car and drove to the hall. The car park was full, everyone obviously decided since the weather was bad they would drive, even though half of them lived around the corner.

I am the most IMPATIENT driver, if I need to get somewhere, I need to get there, I need to park, do what I need to do, get back in the car and drive, dont keep me hanging around!! So some people where just holding up the car park. Its not a large area, probably get around 10 cars parked there, probably more if people could park correctly rather than abandon their cars!! Anyway, there were 2 cars in front of me, and I am tapping on the steering wheel shouting W.T.F, MOVE!! So in my impatientness, I pull up beside them (giving them the not impressed look) And park just on the field beside the car park.

Collected girls, got them strapped in.

OMG, OMG, the car wont reverse. OMG there is mud splattering up the side of my windows and all over the wall. HECK, the wheels are turning but the car is not moving.

Yep, I got stuck in the mud!

I just want to thank the 2 ladies and the man that came to my rescue, and whilst they were rocking the car out of the mud, and me reversing out, they were getting splattered with the mud!

And to the poor man, a special thank you to him, who decided to put his legs up on the wall and use his body strength and push my car out. My car was wet, and he slipped and bashed his chin off the bonnett of the car. Bless him, all I could hear outside in the noise of the reversing was 'S***t, F****' Bless him.

Anyway, they rescued me and the kids, who were getting quite upset thinking we would have to spend the entire night in the field!

So, the mud and grass gave me inspiration for this mini kit

Just to celebrate my freedom again LOL, and its yours for free too :)

Celebrate December, giveaway

Man, its been a while hasnt it!! I have been busy, busy. And I cant even tell you what I have been busy doing LOL. Winter is literally on our doorstep, its soooo cold. We had that horrible wet snow today blech!

This week I have been prepapring Lily the horsey for the winter. She has a nice thick rug on her, which has a hood to keep her neck warm. We moved her to a new field last winter, and her field is pretty open to the elements, not like her last field. But she does have a nice shelter in her field which she makes good use of considering the amount of wheel barrows I need to fill! So I have bedded down her shelter with loads of straw and I have started her on her feeds again to keep that nice weight on her :)

Anyway, as winter approaches, so is Christmas, and it will be time to make your cards :)

So, I have made a new kit Celebrate Decemeber, which comes into the store this week.

As you can see this is not just for those of you that celebrate Christmas, its also for those that celebrate Hanukkah. And, its ideal if you are making Christmas cards for friends who celebrate both faiths :)

Also included with this kit is 2 templates, a 4x6 and 5x7 to help you make your cards

Of course this kit isnt just for the cards ;) There are 12 12x12 papers there for your Christmasy layouts :)

So, I am giving you the chance to win this kit, all you need to do is tell me about your favourite holiday moment :) Remember, I need a way of contacting you so leave that in the comments field for me :)
